Our team at Bridge Marina works hard everyday to take care of our boating guests and members. From our dockhands to our trainers to our service professionals, our team works tirelessly to make sure that our guests are able to enjoy fantastic times on the water, whether they’re a dock slip member taking out their own boat from a slip at our marina, or a Boat Club member enjoying an afternoon on one of our fleet boats on Lake Hopatcong or Highlands.
While recognition of our teams’ hard work – a smile and a simple “thank you” goes a long way from our guests – our team does appreciate gratuities. We’re often asked by guests, “How Much Should I Tip?” So, we put together a quick explainer video to help out.
How much to tip a team member can all depend on the level of service provided, as well as the task completed. In general, a tip of $10-$30 is much appreciated by marina team members for covering (or uncovering) a boat, helping to land your boat in a slip, or a job well done at the fuel dock.
Thanks from all of us at Bridge Marina for recognizing the hard work of our team – we appreciate it!
