Since 2019, our Highlands boat club has helped hundreds of families enjoy life on the water on Sandy Hook Bay, as well as the Navesink and Shrewsbury rivers.
Our Highlands boat club provides members with access to professionally maintained boats supported by a team that prioritizes safety and member care.

When you join Bridge Marina’s Highlands Boat Club, you gain access to a professionally maintained fleet of late-model Four Winns bowriders, Starcraft triple pontoons, and Wellcraft center consoles, thoughtfully selected for cruising, fishing, watersports and exploring the Jersey Shore.
Every outing with us begins with a boat that is cleaned, fueled, inspected, and ready for your arrival. Our team provides hands-on training and continued dockside support to ensure your comfort and confidence in bay conditions.
Highlands boat club members enjoy relaxed morning cruises along the shoreline, dock-and-dine evenings, early morning fishing trips, and afternoons tubing with the kids aboard our fleet.
Behind the scenes, we handle maintenance, insurance, storage, repairs, and ongoing fleet reinvestment – so your time is spent on the water, not managing a boat.
As a Highlands boat club member, you also enjoy reciprocal access to our Lake Hopatcong fleet, expanding your boating options across two distinct New Jersey waterways.

Each SLS-3 in our fleet features a plush interior designed with comfort in mind, upgraded furniture with built-in cupholders and other thoughtful finishes and amenities abound! Understanding tides, wind, current and channel navigation is part of building boating confidence at the shore. Members are invited to join us for ongoing hands-on, on-water training clinics to further boost skills and confidence.
Our dock team prepares your boat before arrival and assists with departure and return, ensuring a smooth experience in varying bay conditions. From line handling to local navigation insight, we’re here to help you boat confidently at the Jersey Shore.

Our Highlands location places members directly on Sandy Hook Bay, offering expansive water views and convenient access to waterfront destinations throughout the bay, plus the Navesink and Shrewsbury rivers. Private keypad access restrooms with a shower and on-site parking are available to members.
After your time on the water, enjoy the relaxed bayside setting at the on-site Seafarer Bar overlooking Sandy Hook Bay. It’s an easy way to extend your boating day, whether for a casual drink, dockside dining, or meeting friends at the marina.

Bridge Marina Boating Club offers a range of membership options designed around how often and when you want to enjoy boating on Sandy Hook Bay, NJ. As one of the few boat clubs in New Jersey to publish transparent pricing guidance, we believe in helping prospective members make informed decisions, especially when comparing boat club options along the Jersey Shore.
Annual membership fees range from approximately $1,800 to $5,000 for weekday-only plans and $2,400 to $6,000 for Anytime plans (plus applicable tax).
Our pricing reflects the size and quality of Highlands fleet – over a dozen professionally maintained boats and a carefully balanced member-to-boat ratio to preserve access for our members, even during peak summer weekends along the Jersey Shore.

Highlands Boat Club Member Onboarding
All new Bridge Marina Boating Club members start their experience with a comprehensive onboarding experience designed to ensure comfort, confidence, and safety, particularly in coastal and bay conditions.
Your onboarding begins with an in-depth, hands-on orientation at Highlands, led by a professional instructor. You’ll also have access to complimentary training clinics throughout the season to continue building your skills and comfort on the water.
The one-time onboarding investment of $1,499 covers your first-year training, orientation, and introduction into the club. In subsequent years, members pay only their selected annual membership fee.

No matter which flexible membership option you choose, every boating club membership offered includes all the Bridge Marina member perks, from ongoing on-water education throughout the season to hassle-free boating aboard our incredible fleet.
Bridge Marina Boating Club offers multiple, flexible membership options to best suit our members at both of our locations on Lake Hopatcong and Highlands, NJ. Bridge Marina Boating Club membership programs are based on:
Bridge Marina Boating Club puts you in control. Simply choose the program that fits how – and how often – you want to boat. All options include the perks we’re known for – hands-on education and coaching from our professional team, a fantastic fleet and hassle-free boating, so you can simply show up and ship out!
Our membership program commitment is only one year.
For your convenience, all plans are auto-renewed each year on your anniversary (joining) date, and most members join us for several consecutive years. You can opt out of renewing your plan by simply letting us know, in advance of your anniversary date, that you no longer wish to continue your membership.
No cancellation fees, no long-term commitments. And, when and if you’d like to join us again after a “break” from the Club, you can rejoin for great times on the water for another year. Flexibility is important to us.
You simply make a reservation in our online system. Your confirmed reservation guarantees your use of the Club.
We maintain a ratio of approximately 7:1 Full Members to available boats to ensure our members have unwavering access to the water. Summer weekends are of course our more popular days for reservations, and our weekend afternoons are most popular. We encourage our members to make plans in advance and reserve their time to guarantee their spot.
Our most experienced members have also found that weekdays are some of the best boating days, with less traffic on our waterways. We encourage our members to seek the solitude of weekdays and schedule weekday reservations whenever possible – an early day off work on a Thursday often makes for a fantastic afternoon on the water!

Reservations are made in our online system and all members are given ample opportunity and access to our fleet.
The membership level you choose corresponds to the number of reservations you have to use for the season. One reservation equals a single AM or PM visit, typically 9 AM – 1 PM or 2 PM – 6 PM.
Reservations can be aligned in order to take a boat for an entire day, though we find that one AM or PM reservation offers plenty of time on the water. (Nine hours, 9 AM – 6 PM, is a long day of boating!)
‘Anytime’ Members may have up to two weekday and two weekend reservations on our schedule at any given time. ‘Weekday-Only’ Members may have up to four weekday reservations on our schedule at any given time.
If you’re an early morning boater, or would like to enjoy a late evening dinner on the water, accommodations can be made for our more experienced members. Enjoy early arrivals or later-in-the-day returns that extend beyond our normal business hours.
