While it’s the height of summer and boaters are enjoying summer days on the water, we’re taking a moment this July to celebrate the spirit of giving.
Bridge Marina is excited to announce the return of our Fourth Annual Christmas in July Food Drive, taking place Friday, July 24 through Sunday, July 26 at our Lake Hopatcong and Highlands marina locations.
This annual tradition has become one of our favorite summer events, bringing together boaters, guests, and our local communities to help support New Jersey families and individuals in need.
Supporting the Sparta Community Food Pantry and Local New Jersey Families
This year, donations collected during our Christmas in July Food Drive will help support the Sparta Community Food Pantry, which serves individuals and families throughout our local community. The pantry provides food and essential household items to neighbors facing food insecurity, and every donation – no matter the size – helps make a meaningful difference.
Summer can be one of the most challenging times of year for food pantries. As school lets out and many traditional food drives slow down, donations often decrease even though the need remains.
That’s why we’re inviting everyone who visits Bridge Marina during the weekend to bring along a donation of:
- Non-perishable food items
- Personal hygiene products
- Household essentials
Whether you’re a dock slip member with us, boat club member, rental guest, fueling your boat on Lake Hopatcong with us, spending the weekend in Highlands, or simply stopping by, we’d love for you to join us in supporting this important community effort.

What began as a simple way to combine a little holiday fun with community service has grown into an annual Bridge Marina tradition. We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who has contributed over the past several years and helped make this event a success.
This year, donations will be accepted all weekend at all Bridge Marina locations:
- Brady Bridge Marina: 89 Brady Road, Lake Hopatcong, NJ
- Great Cove Bridge Marina: 22 Stonehenge Road, Lake Hopatcong, NJ
- Henderson Bridge Marina: 2 Thompson Lane, Andover, NJ
- Highlands Boating Club & Rentals by Bridge Marina: 1 Atlantic Street, Highlands, NJ
If you’re already planning a visit, simply bring your donation with you. If not, we’d love to welcome you for a quick stop to help make a difference.
As our way of saying thank you, everyone who donates will receive a small holiday gift from Bridge Marina while supplies last!
Bridge Marina: More Than Just a Marina
At Bridge Marina, we’ve always believed that being part of a community means giving back to it. Throughout the year, we’re proud to support boating education, local events, charitable initiatives, and organizations that help strengthen the communities where we live, work, and boat. From local organizations like the Lake Hopatcong Foundation to nationwide initiatives like the National Safe Boating Council, we’re committed to supporting a variety of charitable and educational organizations throughout the year. See just a few of the organizations we’re proud to support here.
Our annual Christmas in July Food Drive is one small way we can work together to make a positive impact – and we’re continually inspired by the generosity of our boating community.
