We are pleased to share that Ray Fernandez, president of Bridge Marina on Lake Hopatcong, N.J., recently earned the marina industry’s highest professional recognition, Certified Marina Manager (CMM). The certification was presented to Ray by Merrit Alves of the Association of Marina Industries at the International Marina and Boatyard Conference in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. in January.
Certified Marina Managers are marina professionals who have completed an extensive training and certification process through the globally recognized International Marina Institute (IMI) and embrace the continuance of education and training for themselves and those who work within the marina industry. Ray is the 389th marina professional to earn CMM status since the inception of the program in 2004.
About the CMM certification, Alves said, “Certified Marina Mangers represent the elite in the marina and recreational boating industry, and we commend Ray for his dedication to achieving this status. Certified Marina Managers like Ray value true personal and professional excellence and strive to maintain the highest levels of ethical and moral conduct in their commitment to the marina industry.”
We congratulate Ray and his fellow CMM graduate for earning this prestigious recognition!
