Ray Fernandez Re-Elected to Marine Trades Association

Ray Fernandez, owner of Bridge Marina on Lake Hopatcong, continues to represent the Lake Hopatcong Region on the Marine Trades Association of New Jersey
 

Lake Hopatcong, N.J. – Ray Fernandez, owner of Bridge Marina, Inc. in Lake Hopatcong, N.J., was recently re-elected to serve on the board of directors for the Marine Trades Association of New Jersey (MTA/NJ). The election occurred at the MTA/NJ’s annual dinner in Spring Lake, N.J.  Lieutenant Governor Kim Guadagno attended the event and addressed the members, discussing the challenges of running a marine business, the impacts of Hurricane Sandy and the reduced sales tax on boats.{#/pub/images/IMG_1881.jpg}

The MTA/NJ is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting, advancing and protecting the recreational marine industry and waterways in New Jersey and represents over 300 marine related businesses. 

As a director on the MTA/NJ board, Fernandez joins over a dozen other leaders in the marine industry from across New Jersey.  During his next two year term as a board member, Fernandez will also serve on the Regional Board of Governors for the MTA/NJ, representing the Lake Hopatcong region.

About his continued service and involvement in the MTA/NJ, Fernandez said, “The MTA/NJ is an incredible organization working to support and strengthen the marine industry in our state.   It is an honor to continue to work with the dynamic staff and volunteers involved and I’m equally honored to continue to represent the Lake Hopatcong region.”

Fernandez and the staff at Bridge Marina are currently preparing for the 2016 boating season on Lake Hopatcong, which will begin in May.
