Member News and Events May 2012

May 23, 2012

Greetings from Bridge Marina and welcome to the 2012 Boating Season! To kick off this season, we'd like to first welcome both our returning and new Dock Slip Members and Boating Club Members. We look forward to hosting your boating vacation this season!

Welcome Packet

If you have not done so already, please be sure to pick up your "Welcome Packet" in our marine store - we've included some important information about the season and the marina, as well as a few goodies to get your season started on the right foot.

Memorial Day Picnic, Sunday, May 27, 2012 from 1pm to 4pm

We hope you can join us for our first client appreciation picnic of the season on Sunday from 1pm to 4pm! Please also note that a rain date is set for Monday, May 28th; please feel free to call ahead in case of inclement weather to check on when we'll hold this event.

Celebrate Our Success Reception, June 23, 2012

We are thrilled to share that Bridge Marina was awarded the prestigious "Marina of the Year" title from ValvTect Marine Fuel earlier this year, making this the second year in a row that we have received such national recognition! The ValvTect Marina of the Year Award is presented annually to a ValvTect Certified Marina for outstanding operation, total commitment to customer service and environmental stewardship.  Many thanks to you - our valued members - for helping to make this recognition possible! We'll be hosting a "Celebrate Our Success" cocktail reception later this summer to recognize this achievement... more details to follow, but please save the date of Saturday, June 23rd from 7pm to 9pm.

Lake Hopatcong Water Level

The water level has taken a bit more time to rise this year, mostly due to the annual lake draw down. “Normal" lake levels that are best suited for boating are between 8.7 and 9.2 feet. While we will be launching boats, we do suggest you navigate the entire lake with additional caution as underwater hazards may be closer to the surface than you are normally accustomed to. We also suggest you take additional care in access and egress to your slip and vessel as the water level can make such more difficult.

New Website, Web Address, and Mobile App at www.BridgeMarina.com

Bridge Marina now has a new home on the web, which features a brand new website and links to our new mobile app, which allows you to monitor the water level, check out our web cam feed (coming soon), and check the local weather conditions and water temperature.

Thank you for choosing Bridge Marina as your boating destination this year. We appreciate your business and look forward to helping you enjoy your time on Lake Hopatcong!
